Saalbach-Hinterglemm
Austria
4-piste network consisting of Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Fieberbrunn and Leogang with over 270km of slopes!
Information about the Resort
After connecting with neighbouring villages of Fieberbrunn and Leogang Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm has become the second largest interconnected ski are in Austria, boasting one of the best high-speed lift-systems in the world. Its south-facing slopes are ideal for sun-seekers while the north-facing slopes hold the powder very well. Saalbach itself is a typical Austrian village with traditional architecture and a river running through the centre. The main street is car free with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Hinterglemm is an annual host of the FIS World Cup whereas top freeriders flock to Fieberbrunn for the Freeride World Tour in February. In the coming years the connection with Zell am See is planned, as a result creating one of the biggest ski resorts in the world.
