Information about the Resort

Zermatt is a car-free ski resort at the foot of Switzerland’s most famous mountain, the Matterhorn. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the runs on endless slopes with spectacular views of surrounding mountains. At almost 4000 metres of altitude, Matterhorn ski paradise is the highest winter sports area in the Alps. Apart from guaranteed snow conditions, the region is one of the best-developed and extensive ski resorts anywhere in the world. The state of the art infrastructure combined with amazing views of the Matterhorn makes it a serious contender for the first spot among the best resorts on the planet. The ski are stretches across two countries. Zermatt is the entry point in Switzerland and Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche are the entry points in Italy. Due to its location high in the mountains on the Theodul Glacier the Matterhorn Ski Paradise is one of the few remaining all year round ski resorts in Europe. Come to Zermatt and enjoy Swiss hospitality coupled with Italian lifestyle.
