Information about the Resort
Together with neighboring Samnaun, Ischgl comprises one of the biggest interconnected ski areas in the world. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 239 km of slopes and 15 km of ski routes available. 41 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,377 and 2,872 m. Due to its high altitude and location in the middle of the Alps it enjoys great snow conditions from November to early May. The cross-border ski resort connects Ischgl in Austria with the Swiss duty-free village of Samnaun. Ideal destination for a shopping spree. From boarding to skiing, jumps in funparks or freeriding in powder – everything is possible here. Moreover, Ischgl boasts state of the art infrastructure comprising of very modern chairlifts including the world record Gampenbahn and even a double-decker cable car that transport skiers up to the Silvretta Arena.
