Ötztal is the gateway to the legendary Timmelsjoch and the glaciers above Sölden. As a long side valley of the Inn, it offers a remarkable variety of riding, from easier valley roads to some of the most demanding climbs in the Alps.
This week is all about the contrast between green valleys and high snowfields. From the Kaunertal Glacier Road to the Ötztal Glacier Road, we can ride above 2,700 metres into a landscape where winter seems to linger a little longer.
We’ll climb toward the Italian border on the Timmelsjoch and explore other Tyrolean roads, including Kühtai. Hahntennjoch is another spectacular option when the route, access and group suit it.
When your legs need a break from the vertical, the Inn Valley gives us faster, more relaxed riding. Less climbing, more speed? The week has room for both.
