FAQ
Useful details before choosing a journey.
Confirm dates, prices, inclusions and suitability before making travel arrangements.
Are the dates and prices confirmed?
Each card shows the current information saved on its Event. Confirm the details and booking terms with Alps2Go before making travel arrangements.
What is the difference between guided and self-guided?
A guided journey includes on-route leadership or support as specified. A self-guided journey provides a prepared route and trip logistics while travellers ride independently. Exact support varies by journey.
What is included in the listed price?
The cards show the current headline price. Accommodation, transfers, luggage movement, bike rental and support are confirmed in the individual Event details.
Can non-riders join a private journey?
Often yes. Private itineraries can combine cycling with walks, scenic days and local experiences, subject to the final route and transport plan.
Can the daily plan change?
Weather, road conditions, local operations and rider wellbeing can affect the route. The current plan should always be confirmed before departure.
Important trip notes
Know what to confirm before joining.
These points outline the rider, equipment, insurance and route responsibilities to review for a Summer journey.
01 · Rider fit
Match the route to your experience
Share recent riding distance, elevation, pace and group experience so the daily route and recovery plan can be assessed honestly.
02 · Equipment
Arrive road-ready
Use a roadworthy bike, correctly fitted helmet and suitable clothing. Rental equipment, spares and mechanical support must be confirmed for each journey.
03 · Insurance
Arrange suitable personal cover
Travellers should hold appropriate medical, travel, activity, liability and emergency evacuation insurance for the planned route and destination.
04 · Road safety
Local rules still apply
Participants remain responsible for riding within their ability, observing traffic laws and following safety instructions throughout the journey.
05 · Flexibility
Mountain plans can move
Weather, road closures and local conditions may require route changes. Confirm how alternatives, transfers and cancellations are handled before booking.
