On the French Riviera, every riding day can feel different. Steep climbs rise almost straight from the Mediterranean, while coastal roads offer an easier rhythm and views that invite a stop.
We’ll explore Nice, Antibes, Cannes and Menton, and venture over the Italian border towards Sanremo—because no trip to Italy is complete without some real gelato. The route atlas pairs these coast days with climbs including Èze and Col de la Madone.
Away from the bike, we can wander through picturesque towns such as Èze and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, enjoy the local food and settle into the Riviera’s outdoor pace. A separate, longer excursion to Mont Ventoux can be discussed for riders who want to add that Tour de France landmark; it is not one of the six mapped rides below.
The result is a week that balances serious cycling with time to enjoy the places between the climbs.
